The design of the Ribbon bucket bag was inspired by the portraits and figure paintings by French Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir. As a celebrator of beauty and especially feminine sensuality, he depicted elegant women and innocent children with feathery brush-strokes and sparkling color, and created a vibrant and joyful atmosphere in his paintings.
The Ribbon bucket bag reproduces the warm and laid-back feeling in Renoir's paintings. The designer extracted the palette from the paintings. At the same time, silk scarves, which were commonly used by 18th century French women in their outfits, were merged into the handbag design, providing a beautiful and soft visual experience.
